These days harmony can seem elusive. In the Alexandria A Cappella Collective, we believe in the power of music and singing together to help build connections within our community. To that end, as much as we work to achieve musical excellence within our own rehearsals and performances, we strive to give back to our community:

• In 2026, we hosted our third annual Harmony festival to teach a cappella singing to more than 100 DC public school students and held a Sunday afternoon workshop and performance for four area youth choruses.
• We regularly provide a singing welcome for military veterans arriving at National airport in DC on “Honor Flights” to tour the nation’s monuments.
• We offer free Singing Valentines to area retirement communities.
• Several times per year, we meet our neighbors where they are by strolling through Old Town Alexandria and sharing free performances.

These are just some of the activities you support with your donation to the AACC. Music, rehearsal space, venue rental, and other expenses continue to increase.
